The Woodbound Inn proved to be a serene retreat for my much-needed relaxation. Nestled by Lake Contoocook, the private beach offered a tranquil setting for unwinding and soaking in the picturesque views. I particularly enjoyed spending quiet mornings on the beach, listening to the gentle lapping of the water against the shore, a truly serene experience.The hotel's spa services added an extra touch of relaxation to my stay, providing rejuvenating treatments that helped melt away any lingering stress. The shared lounge and picnic area were ideal for leisurely afternoons spent reading or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.During my stay, I took advantage of the various sport activities available, indulging in some hiking around the scenic area. The opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the surroundings through activities like canoeing and fishing added to the overall tranquil experience.The Woodbound Inn's terrace, with its beach access and garden area, provided a perfect spot for unwinding in the evenings, accompanied by live entertainment that added a pleasant touch to the atmosphere.
